Crash, Bam, The Carnage at Coaldale

There is something satisfying about the sound of two cars smashing into each other.  The dust and roar of the engines with the cheers and wows of the crowd is exciting and all in all it makes for a perfect day at the 4th annual Coaldale, AB demolition derby called “Carnage in Coaldale”.  The event was hosted by the Coaldale Kinsmen Club and it just gets better every year.  I don’t think I’ve seen so many cars in the parking lot and the traffic down 845 was gridlocked for a time.

They really know how to excite the crowd.  The food was good and there were rides on the monster truck, but most of all, they didn’t gouge you for anything. Where can you get into an event like this for $5 and buy a hot dog and pop for $4.  But best of all is that the weather was perfect.  Why don’t you join me next year to take in the sounds and the sights at the 5th Annual Carnage in Coaldale event.  You’ll love it and so will I.

See ya next time…
